At K.S. Datthyn Farms we believe that the best way to grow our onions is in a clean, safe and natural setting. Sustainable farming is something that has always been at the root of our operation, passed down from one generation to the next. Everyday, across our entire operation we are looking for opportunities to lesson our environmental impact and improve our economic viability. It's good for our Onions, our business, our customers and our family.

We are always looking to improve our land preservation efforts, pest management practices and improve on our irrigation and water conservation. We have been farming our land for over 90 years and with continued "Green Farming" we will be doing it 90 years from now.

For the last 10 years we have implemented various water-conservation systems; always looking for ways to improve irrigation efficiency using the most eco-friendly methods. During the same period, we have improved our land preservation efforts and our pest management practices, and we continue to find ways to reduce our resource consumption and further implement efficient waste-management practices.
